This week, Future has had a quiet domination of all things hip hop. When Future performed at SXSW, he performed a song called “Good Morning,” that sounds like an original version of Beyonce and Jay-Z’s “Drunk in Love.” There has been a lot of discussion about that and his “Covered N Money” single.
Honest is due on April 22 and Future returned with the “Covered N Money” music video earlier this week. The video is helping to bring Future back to the spotlight after a brief hiatus. Initially, Future planned to release his sophomore album before the end of 2013, but this didn’t happen.
Either way, Future has had a lot of success and this week ended up being a good week for him. The “Covered N Money” music video is doing well in the few days that it’s been out. Because of this and Future really bringing it with the track and the visuals, “Covered N Money” takes Video of the Week honors this week on Hip Hop Vibe.
