Kid Cudi talks depression, suicide, and state of hip hop with “The Arsenio Hall Show” [VIDEO]

It’s going on five years since Kid Cudi broke through with his “Day ‘n’ Nite” single broke through. Since then, Kid Cudi has managed to remain one of the biggest figures in hip hop. Until last year, Kid Cudi was an integral part of G.O.O.D. Music, but he departed from the label.

Kid Cudi has overcome a lot to be in his current position. Those who are creative often note that their mental health is often up-and-down and the downs can be a killer, literally. In his lifetime, Kid Cudi has dealt with depression and contemplated suicide.

Recently, Kid Cudi visited Arsenio Hall at “The Arsenio Hall Show” and he discussed the dark elements of his life. Coming close to committing suicide, Kid Cudi spoke on this and how he dealt with his depression. Kid Cudi also spoke on the current state of hip hop and his past ties to current superstar, Drake.
