Drill music has produced several major stars, Chief Keef in 2012, Lil Durk in 2013, and Rondo Numba Nine looked like 2014 was his year. All of these rappers have had their legal issues in the past. Outside of the legal issues, most of the drill rappers are associated with gang life in one way or another.
Chicago is one of the toughest cities in America and there have been countless murders over the past few years. Last month, there was a shooting that left a man from the Wentworth Gardens area dead. Law enforcement has steadily investigated this murder and now they have made some arrests.
Rondo Numba Nine, real name Clint Massey, was reportedly with another gunman when they shot Javan Boyd, according to the Chicago Tribune. A portion of the shooting was caught on camera, but a witness said Rondo Numba Nine and the other gunman approached Boyd, a dispatch service worker, and shot him while he was sitting in his vehicle and leaving him dead.
