Only real Dipset followers knew what it was like when Cam’ron and Jim Jones stopped dealing with each other. When they finally made up with each other and fans have waited for them to put something together. Back in 2010, they reunited and they had Vado in tow, landing a deal with Interscope Records.
Last year, Vado told XXL that the Interscope deal was a solo record deal meant only for him. Initially, it seemed as if Diplomat Records was signing a new distribution deal under Interscope. Despite being reunited, Dipset has put out almost nothing new, just making appearances.
Both Vado and Juelz Santana left Diplomat Records’ roster, although they still support the label. Recently, Cam’ron, Jim Jones, Juelz Santana, Freekey Zekey, and Duke Da God took a picture with Dame Dash at his DD Poppington clothing line event. The caption they left was entitled “Dipset back.”
