Papoose talks Remy Ma coming home, being faithful, “Hoodie Season 2,” and more with Hot 97 [VIDEO]

Papoose Hot 97Eight years ago, Papoose made major headlines when he appeared on Busta Rhymes’ remix for “Touch It.” After that, he signed with Jive Records. Under the guidance of Hot 97’s longtime DJ, DJ Kay Slay, Papoose was supposed to take the game over. Instead, his album got delayed for years and he returned to the streets.

At a time when New York hip hop needed someone, Papoose kept the streets fed with his mixtapes. Last year, Papoose released The Nacirema Dream to please his fans, but he told Hip Hop Vibe releasing an album didn’t matter because of the impact his mixtapes had. Most fans would agree with what he said.

Papoose visited Hot 97 and he talked to Ebro about the biggest topic right now, which is his wife, Remy Ma, coming home. She has been behind bars for six years and Papoose has held her down and kept her name relevant. While he was at Hot 97, Papoose also plugged Hoodie Season 2, which is available now.
