Steve Stoute talks most-infleuntial rappers in the game, leaves 50 Cent off, on Hot 97 [VIDEO]

Steve Stoute Hot 97One of the most-powerful executives and controversial people in the business realm of hip hop is Steve Stoute. In the late 1990s, Steve Stoute served as Nas’ manager and was responsible for the “Hate Me Now” music video. Due to a particular scene, it led to a major fight between Stoute and Diddy.

Being successful in business means having a lot of enemies. Last year, 50 Cent did an interview and Steve Stoute came up. He portrayed Steve Stoute as a frustrating person to do business with, as he never returns calls when the deal is being made, but is suddenly available when the deal is made.

Steve Stoute talked to Hot 97, visiting Angie Martinez yesterday. This allowed him the chance to clear the air on what 50 Cent said. In the interview, Angie Martinez asked Steve Stoute who he felt the most-influential artists in hip hop were and he mentioned Dr. Dre, Kanye West, along with a few others, none of which were 50 Cent.
