Through his mixtapes, Papoose made himself a legend in the game a long time before these recent New York hip hop debates. But, Papoose reminded the world why he gets so much respect last year. He dropped his long-awaited debut album, kept doing the mixtapes, and stood up to Kendrick Lamar after “Control” dropped.
Papoose is a definite king on the New York hip hop scene, because he paid his dues to be held in that regard. If Papoose is a king, there is no doubt that Remy Ma is his queen. Remy Ma has been in prison over the past few years and she is coming out this summer.
Throughout this ordeal, Papoose has been a stand up guy right there by his wife’s side and there for the children. While Remy Ma has been away, Papoose has frequently visited her and kept her name alive in the streets. But, Papoose recently stopped by the Black Ink tattoo parlor in New York City to get a tattoo of her.
