The past few years have seen Rick Ross transform himself from being a major regional rapper to one of hip hop’s biggest names. In a relatively short period of time, Rick Ross faced off against giants like 50 Cent and Jeezy. Rick Ross held his own and now six albums deep, he earned the right to be the Mastermind.

Even Rick Ross’ media presence has drastically increased over the past couple of albums. Mastermind is to be Rick Ross’ biggest album yet, with Diddy executive producing and French Montana appearing twice. Jay-Z, Future, Wale, and Meek Mill also appear on the album.

Rick Ross joined The Huffington Post’s Huffpost Live to discuss the new album earlier this week. There wasn’t much Rick Ross didn’t touch on during this interview. After holding Miami down for years, Rick Ross is letting the world know how he feels about the idea of gay rappers, he defended Justin Bieber, and of course, he discussed the new album.
