Drake hints at “Carter V” on Twitter

Drake 28Ironically, Drake appears to have inherited Lil Wayne’s position as the biggest and most-discussed rapper in the game. In 2009, Lil Wayne signed Drake to Young Money and he has since taken a backseat. All of this was part of Lil Wayne’s plan and now Drake is in the spotlight with 2013’s biggest hip hop album.

Ever since reaching the peak of his career, Lil Wayne has been making plans of retiring from the game. The overall goal for Lil Wayne is for him to retire before he turns thirty-five and he is going on thirty-two. In this period of time, Lil Wayne wants to release several albums, concluding with Tha Carter V.

Lil Wayne, in 2008, revealed he wanted to do a joint album with Lloyd, an R&B album called Luv Sawngz, and an album called Devol. Also, Lil Wayne wanted to do more installments of his I Am Not A Human Being series. But, Drake went on Twitter tonight and posted a tweet that simply read “CARTER V,” which hints at Lil Wayne wrapping things up early.
