Unintentionally, J. Cole tends to get himself into beefs with various artists over lines on his records. Back in 2012, Diggy Simmons took shots at J. Cole over lines he made about his sisters. Now, a track where J. Cole references Los Angeles group, New Boyz, is coming back to haunt him.
Similar to Cali Swag District, New Boyz are known for their jerking style of music, but there is more to them than that. As solo artists, the members of the crew are doing something entirely different with their music. Legacy is making his mark as a solo artist and he decided to fire back at J. Cole.
While J. Cole may have not meant anything by his lines, Legacy and his New Boyz family still took offense. Rightfully so, Legacy decided to defend his crew and their music, as their success is nothing to be looked down on. Legacy took many shots directly at J. Cole on his “Blowin Smoke” track, which should get his attention.
