To this day, there are a lot of rappers who would give up almost everything to have a run like Ja Rule had from 1999 through 2004. Even with the 2003 beef, Ja Rule still owned the charts all across the board. But, circumstances just were not on his side and it led to him all but disappearing from the game.
In 2012, Ja Rule finally released a new album and in 2013, he finally began receiving open love from the industry. Before all of this, however, Ja Rule announced he would be starring in a reality show, following his friends Irv Gotti and Rev Run. In spite of the announcement, the show did not see the light of day.
Yesterday afternoon, Ja Rule posted a few pictures on his Instagram of his family and revealed they were taping for his reality show. A few months ago, Ja Rule’s partner, Irv Gotti, revealed he partnered with VH1’s Cris Abrego and this could be the production unit behind the new show. The name of the show is “Follow The Rules” and it has no set premiere date.
