Back in 2011, 50 Cent went on a signing spree of artists who had near-big breaks in 2008. First, he gives Shawty Lo a full-blown label deal and signed Kidd Kidd, who was previously signed to Young Money. Kidd Kidd left Young Money right before the label added Drake and Nicki Minaj.
Despite joining G-Unit Records in 2011, Kidd Kidd did not receive much attention until 2013. In addition to announcing his Street Fame mixtape, Kidd Kidd dropped songs with many big names. Juvenile, another former Cash Money Records star, was among the people collaborating with Kidd Kidd.
Street Fame is still forthcoming, as Kidd Kidd is living the life one would expect from someone who is as close to 50 Cent as he is. Even though 50 Cent is more of an investments guy, anyone who saw his MTV Cribs back in the day knows that he has cars on deck. This is something he and Kidd Kidd have in common, as he showed off his Rolls Royce and Lamborghini on Instagram.
