There was a Miami hip hop scene before DJ Khaled and it produced a lot of big names including 2 Live Crew, Trick Daddy, and Trina. But, DJ Khaled helped transform Rick Ross, Ace Hood, Plies, and many others into stars. They represent both Miami and Fort Lauderdale, collectively.
DJ Khaled extended Miami’s run in the hip hop industry and helped it become the leading scene for a while. Many other cities are now getting shine, but Miami is still playing a big part and DJ Khaled deserves a lot of credit. Forever Miami in the heart and the brain is how DJ Khaled gets down.
This year, DJ Khaled has lots of stuff going on and a clothing line is something on his agenda. Earlier today, DJ Khaled took to his Instagram to show off a new jacket that will have the We The Best Music Group stamp on it. DJ Khaled teased a jacket on Instagram and it was themed after the University of Miami’s colors.
