Just in time for hip hop’s 40th anniversary, Memphis made its way back to the forefront of the rap game. All the legends had some form of new project out and this included DJ Paul with his part in Da Mafia 6ix. Unfortunately, the year ended with him losing his brother, Lord Infamous.
The last couple of weeks in hip hop have seen a lot of loss and it’s definitely a sad experience. However, life has to go on for those who were blessed to see another day, with that, one must plan for the future. Even during this time of loss, DJ Paul is continuing to work.
Last night, DJ Paul went on his Instagram and revealed he was collaborating with some Memphis legends. 8Ball & MJG are forces both collectively and separately and they have united for an upcoming album. Production on this album will be handled by DJ Paul and this is the announcement he made on Instagram.
