T.I. changes album title from “Trouble Man: He Who Wears The Crown” to “Paperwork”

T.I. 3Last year, T.I. finished what he started almost a year earlier in redeeming himself in the public eye. Before dropping Trouble Man: Heavy Is The Head, T.I. served two consecutive prison sentences for unrelated charges. The second situation alienated a lot of would-be T.I. fans and derailed his comeback.

When T.I. came out of prison, he teamed up with VH1 for a reality show and promised to change his image. Easier said than done, as most fans were done with the onetime flame spitter. But, T.I. did the impossible and released his comeback album, marking a new beginning.

This new beginning happened without Atlantic Records, as T.I. entered an album deal with Columbia Records. With this, he ended up changing his album concept, meaning Trouble Man: He Who Wears the Crown will never come. Instead, T.I. will be releasing an album called Paperwork, which might be a sequel to 2008’s Paper Trail.
