Beyonce dropped her surprise fifth studio album on Friday and the album sold over 400,000 copies on the first day. Sales have continued to rise in the days since then and Beyonce will debut on top of the charts. Her album is history-making for more reasons than one.
Now, Beyonce has officially broken records with the sales of her album. In only a handful of days, Beyonce sold 828,773 worldwide copies with the new album and she has moved 617,213 copies in her first week, thus far. With her surprise album that came in a short week, Beyonce may go platinum in her first week.
