Last year, most people learned of K. Michelle for the first time when she began starring on VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta.” Before this, K. Michelle rose the ranks on the Memphis scene and built a strong following. She took her talents to VH1 and soon she had a deal with Warner.

This year, K. Michelle continued her run on “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta,” but focused more on her music. After her run on the second season on the show, K. Michelle released her debut album, Rebellious Soul. Since the release of the album, she has transitioned to the main “Love & Hip Hop.”

K. Michelle gained a good portion of her fame on VH1 and now that she has built her fan base, she returned to the network. Carrie Keagan hosted K. Michelle on this morning’s “Big Morning Buzz Live.” They talked about her being snubbed at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards and dating in New York City.
