Chicago has so many artists coming up out of the city that it’s hard to keep up with all of them. December is already here and the year is almost over, so looking back on Chicago hip hop in 2013, Fredo Santana is one of their breakout artists. This year, Fredo Santana has had a pretty strong year.
Fans should definitely remember Lil Reese’s verse on Chief Keef’s “I Don’t Like,” where he shouted out Fredo Santana. He started something with his “Fredo in the cut, now that’s a scary sight” line. Fredo Santana made his major debut with It’s A Scary Site and he has continued with the mixtapes since then.
Recently, Fredo Santana released Trappin Ain’t Dead and now he’s back at it with the preparation for another tape. It’s A Scary Site 2 is coming soon, there is no set release date, but it’s due. Fredo Santana released the cover for the mixtape on Instagram last night.
