The week of Thanksgiving has brought about a media barrage from Kanye West, who has taken headlines over, again. During one of his interviews, Kanye West was even accompanied by his fiancée, Kim Kardashian. Before the days when Kanye West held the power to shut the internet down, he was a music fan.
Michael Jackson probably was Kanye West’s biggest influence when he was growing up. Obviously, Kanye West ended up finding influences from many other artists, most-notably Jay-Z. Since then, Kanye West has transformed to a producer to a rapper to one of the most-controversial emcees in the game.
Kanye West recently visited Hot 97 and made his rounds with almost all of their personalities. Juan Epstein’s duo of Peter Rosenberg and DJ Cipha Sounds had the opportunity to talk to Kanye West. He didn’t end up spazzing out on them, as he mainly spoke on being influenced by Michael Jackson.
