The big homie Busta Rhymes is a legend, end of discussion. Dating back to his early days with Leaders of the New School to his current run with Cash Money Records, credit is due. But, back in the late 1990s, Busta Rhymes was still out there earning his stripes.

In 1997, Busta Rhymes dropped his sophomore album, When Disaster Strikes…, which went on to go platinum. The album reached number three on Billboard and a lot of this is because of the lead single. One of the longest single titles, “Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Can See” was a big track for Busta Rhymes.

The music video also did well, appearing in rotation on BET and MTV. Known for his crazy personality and sense of humor, Busta Rhymes’ creativity was evident. In the week of Thanksgiving, we at Hip Hop Vibe leave the visitors with Busta Rhymes’ 1997 single, “Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Can See.”
