Arguably 2012’s biggest breakout artist, Trinidad James took the game over with his single, “All Gold Everything.” Since then, Trinidad James has not been able to overcome the stigma of the single. Back in the spring, Trinidad James managed to deliver a minor hit with “Females Welcomed.”
This summer, Trinidad James delivered his mixtape, 10 PC Mild, which did relatively well. However, Trinidad James failed to deliver a single to capture the audience like the one that made him famous. The single was so big it led to Trinidad James signing his deal with Def Jam worth $2 million.
Recently, Trinidad James put himself back in the spotlight when he took aim at the entire makeup of New York hip hop. He talked about Atlanta’s dominance over the game and how they happen to run New York radio. Trinidad James has faced disses from Maino and Charlamagne Tha God, among others.
Facing so much opposition, Trinidad James decided he would take aim today with a secret project called The Truth Will Set You Free and he posted on Twitter and Instagram about it.
