Promotion for Yeezus was unlike any other album Kanye West has put out. Rightfully so, reactions to Yeezus were unlike any other album Kanye West has put out. Yeezus debuted to disappointing sales and record sales have been low in comparison to the other albums from Kanye West.
Weeks after releasing the album, Kanye West released “Black Skinhead” as the lead single off the album. During the summer, the “Black Skinhead” video premiered to a lot of critical attention. Since then, the single has caught on, as has “Blood On The Leaves,” but it has not been enough to truly boost Yeezus sales.
Yeezus went gold back in August and Kanye West has continued the promotion of the album. Ellen DeGeneres is a big supporter of hip hop and she recently announced she was teaming up with Kanye West. He will be using “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” to premiere a video off Yeezus next week.
