Bun B talks new album, current state of hip hop, and more with “Sway In The Morning” [VIDEO]

Bun B SwayHouston legend, Bun B hadn’t dropped a new album since 2010’s Trill OG. This week, he returned with some new music in the form of Trill OG: The Epilogue, which dropped yesterday. Immediately, Bun B is back in the spotlight making his rounds, but true legends never really go anywhere.

The past two years have led up to this year in hip hop, where many legends have returned with new albums and the current stars are holding it down. Bun B always sticks out, as he was one of the first Southern rappers to break through and because of how he holds UGK down as one person. His partner, Pimp C, died in 2007.

Bun B continues to live on and is one of hip hop’s commanding figures. Sway Calloway hosted Bun B over at Shade 45’s “Sway In The Morning” to discuss his new album. They also talked about the state of hip hop, as many have agreed that the game is going through another golden era.
