What Kool G Rap has done for hip hop music goes without saying, there are too many things real hip hop heads can say about him. But, it’s good to see a hip hop artist rise in the early days and still be a major factor years later. Both solo and with DJ Polo, he has dropped nine studio albums, with his Riches, Royalty, Respect coming in 2011.
Kool G Rap has spoken on a new album coming in 2013 called Hustlas Bible, but there is no set release date. Either way, Kool G Rap has kept himself up on the transitions hip hop has gone through. The past few years have shown a revival in the golden-era sounds of hip hop, which have been greatly missed.
Sway’s been on a roll with the latest “Sway In The Morning” interviews on Shade 45 and Kool G Rap was one of his recent guests. For those who missed out, Kool G Rap gave some information on his background and spoke on why he started rapping. He also explained why he took it to the next level.
