Ever since “Tony Montana,” Future has remained one of the top artists in the game. As the story was told, Drake jumped on the “Tony Montana” record and his version became the single version. When it came time to do the music video, however, Drake’s team refused to do it, leaving minor friction.

Seeing the bigger picture, which was him being successful in the game, Future looked past it and continued to build. In 2012, Future took his position as one of the biggest breakout stars in the game, releasing Pluto. Along with this, Future also did countless guest appearances on records, establishing himself even more.

Now, Future is preparing his second album, Honest, and he has a lot going on outside of the album. Before he started the full promotion for the album, Future proposed to Ciara and filed a lawsuit against Drake. When he was in Miami, Future talked to 99 Jamz’ Lorenzo “Ice Tea” Thomas about all of this.
