Teddy Riley files lawsuit against Lady Gaga over her 2009 single, “Teeth”

There is a lot of Teddy Riley’s work that goes on behind the scenes for artists in plenty of other genres. Lady Gaga is among the artists who reached out to Teddy Riley for help with her music. Her “Teeth” single taken from her album, The Fame Monster, featured contributions from Teddy Riley.

Teddy Riley wrote “Teeth” for Lady Gaga and he was promised 25% of the writing fees for the song. It’s been four years and Teddy Riley has yet to draw a check, so he has decided to take action. The New Jack Swing creator has filed a $500,000 lawsuit in punitive damages against Lady Gaga.
