Young BuckA decade ago, 50 Cent not only became the hottest rapper in the game, he made it where his team could also prosper. G-Unit Records soon became a part of the Shady/Aftermath/Interscope family and the world met Lloyd Banks and Young Buck. In 2004, both rappers released platinum debut albums.

Young Buck had an infectious sound and it was unapologetic in it’s overall Southern sound. At the time when the South had cemented itself as the next force in the game, G-Unit definitely had a horse in the race. But, similar to Game, Young Buck was a star meant to be a standalone artist, so he clashed with 50 Cent and departed.

Misfortune followed Young Buck and his financial troubles landed him in prison. It looked like 2012 was going to be the year Young Buck re-established himself, but it was the year he sat behind bars. Recently freed, Young Buck is back on his job and he hit the studio with Waka Flocka Flame.
