When Hip Hop Vibe celebrated Oakland Week back in September, Sway Calloway’s work in the media was spotlighted. Not only is Sway Calloway a leading contributor to the MTV network, he is also is an executive within the company. MTV News is the leading Sway Calloway production and his work for Shade 45 has revived their brand.
Recently, Sway Calloway added a segment to his “Sway In The Morning” radio show, which is a part of Shade 45. The “Sway In The Morning” segment is called the A&R Room and it features the Shade 45 staff listening to new music. After listening to the music, they determine if it’s good or not.
Maino stopped by and he chilled with Sway, DJ Wonder, Reef, and music executive, Rich Nice. This time, Maino lent them an ear and he helped them decide if the music was a go or not. Right now, everyone is quoting Maino off his “What Happened To Our City” single with Jadakiss.
