The cycle has been completed, it’s November and it’s Eminem’s time to shine with his album out. Technically, Eminem doesn’t drop The Marshall Mathers LP 2 until next week, but the project leaked this past week. “Rap God” is one of the many singles off the album, it’s the one that brought the most controversy.
Not only did Eminem manage to anger the homosexual community, again, with his latest single, but he also gained a new rap rival. Lupe Fiasco is always going after somebody for one reason or another. “Rap God” gave Lupe Fiasco a reason to go after Eminem and he was the one who outed the Drake/Rihanna/Eminem triangle.
Eminem is well beyond the point where he would trade disses with someone. In 2004, he ended all of his beefs with “Like Toy Soldiers” and he has only released three albums since then. Currently, Eminem is on set for the “Rap God” music video and he posted a photo on Instagram to announce the shoot.
