Major props go out to the Los Angeles hip hop scene and the “New West.” The extended family of Hip Hop Vibe has DJ Kid Fresh bringing that West Coast flavor every day. One “New West” rapper to pay attention to is Thurz, who is preparing for his Blood on the Canvas project.
This summer, Thurz linked with fellow “New West” emcee, Cali Martyr for a track entitled “Gah Damn Gah Damn.” By the time Thurz began pushing the track as a single, it became “Ah Man.” Regardless, Thurz is having a big year and this week he dropped the music video for the single.
One of the most-energetic tracks to drop all summer, Thurz and Cali Martyr did not disappoint with the music video. The video lived up to the same hype as the song did and it made the Video of the Week choice rather easy.
