Safe to say, had things gone according to plan, Young Scooter would’ve been getting some of the attention that went to Migos and Rich Homie Quan. Each year, Atlanta supplies the game with at least one breakout artist. Young Scooter appeared to be the one for 2013.
Instead, Young Scooter violated his probation and had to spend nine months in prison, talk about bad timing. Coming into 2013, Young Scooter released his long-awaited mixtape, Street Lottery, and it featured the “Colombia” single. Birdman, Gucci Mane, and Rick Ross were on the remix.
A lot has happened since Young Scooter’s been away, but he remains determined to reclaim his spot. MTV was with Young Scooter today when he was released from prison and they have exclusive footage. The biggest reunion was between Young Scooter and his son.
