A lot of people associate Young Dro with “Shoulder Lean” from the early days of Grand Hustle Records. No doubt, Young Dro had a big summer in 2006, which ended with him releasing Best Thang Smokin. Since 2006, Young Dro has kept it on the mixtape level since then.

T.I. recently had a change of heart when it came to major labels and he left his partnership with Atlantic Records. Wanting a much bigger deal, T.I. decided to go independent for Grand Hustle. He mostly now refers to Grand Hustle as Hustle Gang and their latest release was Young Dro’s High Times.

Dropping his album on eOne Music, Young Dro talked to “The Breakfast Club” about the album. DJ Envy, Charlamagne Tha God, and Angela Yee talked to Young Dro about the album and the change in Atlanta hip hop. There are a lot of Atlanta rappers emerging into the hip hop scene.
