Once Nas released Life is Good, almost everyone agreed he put together what is considered to be the album of the year. Saying he was on a creative high, Nas said he would continue recording music and drop a new album in 2013. With two months left in the year and no new music, so most understand he has nothing coming.
Instead of releasing new music, Nas focused on his business ventures this year and this included a sizable investment in Mass Appeal magazine. Other companies Nas is doing business with include Hennessy. Nas is working heavily with the Wild Rabbit campaign the company is promoting.
Nas spoke to The Huffington Post and he announced an anniversary concert for his Illmatic album and his next album. He does not have a title for the album, but Nas is working and he learned in his travels. Before Hennessy, Nas had no idea Cognac was a place in France and he spoke on the song with Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake.
