2 Chainz talks name change with Vlad TV [VIDEO]

2 Chainz 6In the early 2000s, Ludacris rose to become one of the biggest artists in the game and there was always one featured guest who stuck out. Tity Boi was often featured on the albums from Ludacris and the Playaz Circle camp was held in high regards. They got their big break in 2007 alongside Lil Wayne for their “Duffle Bag Boy” single.

People who follow hip hop through the radio and television probably lost track of the group after that song faded. But, those already up on the internet followed Tity Boi and Dolla Boy as they built their own fan base. Tity Boi built an incredible buzz in 2011 and decided to change his name to 2 Chainz for marketing purposes.

2 Chainz recently sat down with Vlad TV and they reflected on the various points in his career. Even with all he accomplished, the biggest moment in 2 Chainz’ career came when he made the jump from Tity Boi. In the interview, 2 Chainz explained his name change.
