Hip hop got hot this summer and there were a lot of people involved in these different situations. One of the craziest moments came when Ransom’s lyrics about Nicki Minaj led to a beef with the two of them. Ransom insisted he didn’t actually have any beef with Nicki Minaj, there were shots taken back and forth.
Ransom used the attention to his advantage and it got a lot of people paying attention to him for the music he makes. When it comes to that lyrical and hardcore street music, Ransom has held that lane down. He recently partnered with Statik Selektah for their album, The Proposal.
Since their album is out, Ransom and Statik Selektah talked to Charlamagne Tha God, Angela Yee, and DJ Envy about the project. “The Breakfast Club” is always home to some of the funniest talks about the new project. Joe Budden is one of Ransom’s biggest foes and he also discussed this with Power 105.1’s trio.
