The album three years in the making finally came when Pusha T released his long-awaited debut album, My Name is My Name. His album features much more than what most fans anticipated. Pusha T keeps the trend of “drug dealer rap” alive, but he brings so much more as an artist.
My Name is My Name is a little under a week old and those who have heard it have given it props as one of 2013’s best albums. Features were kept to a minimum and each one was the proper fit for the new release. The release of My Name is My Name was the conclusion of a strong 2013 for G.O.O.D. Music.
Pusha T has done several interviews discussing the My Name is My Name album and he also paid a visit to Shade 45. Sway Calloway invited Pusha T to his “Sway in the Morning” show and they spoke about both the content of his music and the type of music he makes.
