Drake caused a lot of attention and discussion when he dropped “Wu-Tang Forever,” which is included on Nothing Was The Same. The album is now a few weeks old and the Wu-Tang Clan has spoken on the new album. Being mentioned is a great nod to history, but Inspectah Deck was disappointed that there was no real tribute.
Raekwon is one of the most-consistent Wu-Tang artists when it comes to dropping new music. Since 2009, Raekwon has consistently dropped something new every year whether it be an album of a mixtape. Fittingly, he is familiar with a lot of the newer artists, including Drake.
MTV News spoke to Raekwon and he said he and Drake have talked. Other members of the Wu-Tang Clan have talked to Drake and there will definitely be more work. In the interview, Raekwon confirmed the Wu-Tang Clan will be involved in an official remix of “Wu-Tang Forever.”
