All the biggest names in hip hop came to Atlanta for the A3C Hip Hop Festival and it made for interesting discussions. On the battle front, Cortez is one of the biggest names out there. Most probably know Cortez from his battles on Smack DVD and also from King of the Dot.
While Cortez was doing A3C, he did another battle and it was during this time that he gave Hip Hop Vibe a chance to speak to him. John John Da Don was Cortez’ opponent during A3C and their battle was one of the highlights of the festival. Battling is a foot in the door, but Cortez has much more he hopes to accomplish in the music industry.
Cortez talked to Hip Hop Vibe about the battle and he definitely had a lot to say about it. But, Cortez does have other ambitions in the music industry. Smack DVD may be his claim to fame, but Cortez has a career outside of it and he is beginning to dedicate more focus to it.
