HHV Exclusive: Rain speaks on Fayetteville scene, J. Cole, “Live Fast Die Young,” and more

Rain 2This past weekend showed just how far the hip hop scene here in Fayetteville has evolved over the years. A lot of Fayettenam showed up in Atlanta for the 2013 A3C Hip Hop Festival and this included Rain. During the summer, Rain appeared on “106 & Park” and it was a pleasure running into him.

Rain is born and raised here in Fayetteville and has the attention of the game right now, as he is transitioning from battle rapping to regular hip hop music. This man is a threat to the game and he is getting ready to show the world what he can do. Rain is only days away from releasing his Live Fast Die Young project.

While he was making his way through the A3C festivities, Rain took a little time out to speak with us. In our interview, Rain spoke on the Fayetteville city and the music within the city, which brought up his history with J. Cole. Rain also talked about the Live Fast Die Young project, which is due on October 30.
