Given what Eminem has already shown of The Marshall Mathers LP 2, he is taking his music back to the roots of hip hop. Rick Rubin is heavily involved in the album and it has a Beastie Boys feel to it. “Berzerk” is the only song the world has heard off the new project so far.
Eminem, during his original run, became a close collaborator with Jay-Z and they made the classic track, “Renegade.” The song was originally on Jay-Z’s critically-acclaimed album, The Blueprint. 50 Cent also benefited from working with Eminem in the early days and considers him a mentor.
According to the rumors, Eminem will be turning to both for his next single off the upcoming album. Eminem has taken the past three years off and the game has changed with Jay-Z proving to be a good person to collaborate with. 50 Cent also has a comeback in mind, so this potential single could be huge.
