Most hip hop fans were introduced to Game late in 2004. Before that, Game got plenty of lip service on G-Unit tracks. In addition, he made cameo appearances in their music videos. A lot has changed since then, including the affiliations Game has and G-Unit will probably never be on that list again.
In his early days, however, Game was with G-Unit and it was with them that the world learned of all he went through. On “Dreams,” Game revealed he had been shot almost to death and was in a coma for five days. Some fans compared his mentions to that of the “I got shot nine times” line from 50 Cent.
Game shares a lot on Instagram and he is always giving back to the less fortunate. His latest post was a lot closer to home, however. He posted a photo of Lynette Taylor, his mother, in a hospital bed and his caption said they share one more thing in common, going through a coma.
