Lola Monroe explains never being signed to Taylor Gang with Hip-Hop Wired [VIDEO]

Lola Monroe 2For those who don’t know, before Lola Monroe was a video vixen before she retired from doing shoots back in 2010. Most video vixens have their own musical pursuits anyway, so Lola Monroe was in good company. Lola Monroe began making music and soon she had some support in Wiz Khalifa.

Ever since 2006, Wiz Khalifa had a strong fan base and he was releasing albums that were successful. But, in 2010, Wiz Khalifa had a breakout year and it led to a light being shed on the entire Taylor Gang. Wiz Khalifa took this momentum with him over to Atlantic Records.

Last month, it was revealed that Taylor Gang parted ways with Lola Monroe and in-house producer, Cardo. Since then, a lot of discussion has gone on about them being “dropped” from the Taylor Gang label. Lola Monroe explained to Hip-Hop Wired that she was never signed to them, so the affiliation ended.
