Drake agrees to help the Toronto Raptors with their rebranding

Everything Drake touches turns to gold it’s been like that for the past three years. He recently released Nothing Was The Same and it placed Drake right back on the top of the game, as if he ever left. Drake’s success has been one major bright spot for Toronto in the midst of losing in other categories.

The Toronto Raptors have existed for eighteen years and their existence barely maintained relevance. Vince Carter had success with the franchise for a little while and they were a major topic, but he left the team. Things did not fare much better for the Raptors during the Chris Bosh era, but at least they had an all-star.

Chris Bosh is a two-time NBA champion with the Miami Heat and Drake is often spending time in the city. Every chance he gets, Drake shots out Toronto and now he is giving back to his home team. Now, it looks like Drake will have a role helping to rebrand the Toronto Raptors, comparable to Jay-Z and the Nets.

Drake made posts about this on his Instagram, showing off the Raptors logo.
