It’s a war zone in Chicago and nobody’s safe from it, not even the grandson of one of the most-prolific members of the Gangsters Disciples. Larry Hoover received a lot of attention when Rick Ross shouted him out in the hook of his “BMF” single. Larry Hoover is currently serving six life sentences at a Colorado maximum security prison.

Life has gone on for the members of Larry Hoover’s family, most of whom still live in the city of Chicago. Geremy Hoover is one of Larry Hoover’s grandsons and he became a victim in the ongoing Chicago violence. Hoover, twenty-four years old, was robbed in the South Side of Chicago last Sunday, sustaining serious injuries.

Geremy Hoover died from these injuries on Wednesday and he leaves behind three children. It all started for the younger Hoover when he was approached by a man asking if he could use his phone. From there, the man demanded Hoover give him all his valuables and when he tried to run, he shot him in the head.
