Baltimore, Maryland is known for being one of the toughest cities in America. It’s also known for it’s seafood, championship football, “The Wire,” and sexy women. One of those sexy women is Kristina Divine, who has been setting the DMV area on fire since 2007. Born and raised in Baltimore to Jamaican parents, Kristina Divine has been featured in some of the more elite websites and urban magazines.

Currently attending Morgan State, Kristina Divine is not only an aspiring model and video vixen she also has a passion to work with kids with autism. Kristina Divine has been very busy keeping up personal appearances and she also has been featured in Straight Stuntin, Urban Ink, and Don Diva just to name a few publications.

Kristina Divine chopped it up with Hip Hop Vibe and is the latest Hottie of the Week and allowed us to pick her brain. She talked about her appearance in Jodeci’s video “Knockin Your Heels Off” featuring H-Town and Pretty Ricky and of course her goals in urban modeling. We would like to take the time to thank Kristina Divine for sharing her experiences with us and our viewers.

Read the entire interview below:

You grew up in Baltimore, Maryland tell us a little something about your experiences from that city? Um, I don’t know, it’s just like every other city in a way. Yes, a lot of violence and many funerals but at the end of the day every city has a hood right?

What were you doing before you pursued modeling and what initially led you into the field? I was working two jobs, plus I was in school, which I still am today, and I love it’s my hustle, it’s life.

Who are some of the models and photographers you look to for inspiration? Bria Myles, I love her she is the baddest re-point for us chocolate models. Photographer-wise, James Rich, he groomed me and I am what I am today because of him!

Most definitely, Bria Myles is one of my favorites as well. So Where do you see yourself in regards to modeling in the near future? Just riding it to the wheels fall off, but not limiting myself to other opportunities in entertainment.

You have a very natural-looking toned body. Can you tell us about your workout routine or is it all genetics? I don’t work out at all. It’s all my natural Jamaican body (laughs).

Tell us a little bit about your experience on the Jodeci video shoot? It was really fun and it was so many people on set that it was hard to stay focus but it was definitely an amazing experience!

What are some of the qualities you look for in a man? And would you ever consider dating any of your fans? I like a respectful man who is romantic and knows how to communicate. As far as a fan goes, I don’t know I guess it all depends on the situation.

You mentioned that you have a strong passion for working with autistic children. What are your goals as far as that work goes? I have experience in the field and I’m finishing up my degree and continuing with psychology.

You attend Morgan State correct? Has it been hard juggling your modeling career and also being a career student? No, it isn’t that hard because at the end of the day it has to be done and you just have to know how to prioritize.
