Social media is both a blessing and a curse with the blessing being how easy it is to connect and the curse being people getting too comfortable. In a lot of cases, there are people who have never met in person getting entirely too comfortable with people, telling them anything. That’s the case for a lot of aspiring rappers.
Just because a celebrity, or someone they think can help them advance their career has a profile, most rappers will try to connect. Really, it’s hard to blame them because this is social networking. But, in most situations, trying to connect with an artist through social networking and not the proper channels is a fail.
Still, aspiring stars make these efforts in hopes of making it big. When it’s someone’s dream they are going for, it’s impossible to hate. At the same time, the way some go about it is both rude and frustrating, but Drake was the latest victim of this, as an artist posted a rap under Drake’s Instagram post.
