New York needed someone to step up when Kendrick Lamar jumped on Big Sean’s record, “Control,” and called himself king of New York. Given all the big talk he has given, obviously a lot of attention went to Fabolous. But, Fabolous used the momentum for a couple of tweets, but no actual record.
When looking at New York rappers who have consistently held the city and the state down over the past ten years, look at what Papoose has done. Dropping over twenty mixtapes and an album, Papoose has had a strong run. Since nobody else stepped up on behalf of the city, Papoose did and he continues to.
Papoose is completely done dealing with Kendrick Lamar and he wants to rip Big Sean’s head off. When he talked to Vlad TV about Big Sean, Papoose let it be clear he is not a fan of what he’s doing. Big Sean says “B.I.G.” in every rhyme, but he is not from Brooklyn, nor did he know The Notorious B.I.G. and Pap said he needs to stop.
