Time is winding down and now it’s only eight days until Grand Theft Auto V finally hits retail outlets. Grand Theft Auto has immersed itself into hip hop culture and is a game most hip hop fans will want. Hip Hop Vibe has chosen to dedicate the days leading up to the new title to reflecting on past characters.
DJ Louie Styles recapped Ken Rosenberg yesterday and today Claude Speed gets that good ‘ole Kid Fresh treatment. Back in 2001, Grand Theft Auto III dropped and the game series rose to fame. The first protagonist fans were allowed to connect with was Claude and his last name was speculated to be Speed.
Claude Speed is the main character on Grand Theft Auto III and he works for and against different variations of the Mafia. Throughout the game, Claude is battling against his ex-girlfriend, Catalina. Three years later, Claude Speed and Catalina return on Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
