Back in the early 2000s, Charli Baltimore was a part of one of the hottest camps in the history of hip hop. People often rag on Murder Inc. Records, but the numbers do not lie and they had it when they had it. Ja Rule was the focus of the label and his popularity helped reintroduce people to Charli Baltimore.
When Charli Baltimore talked to Hip Hop Vibe earlier this month, she spoke about her time working with Irv Gotti. During the interview, she explained that she has not been away from the game, but she was focusing more on family. With her daughter now an adult, she is refocusing the rap game.
Starting with Hip Hop Vibe, Charli Baltimore has made her media rounds and they continued with “Sway in the Morning.” Charli Baltimore spoke more in-depth about her time away from the game. During the conversation with Shade 45, Charli Baltimore talked about the situation.
