Ever since the overload of violence included on Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, there have been petitions against these games getting in the hands of children. Even though the games are rated mature for children eighteen and older, everyone knows small children play it. Grand Theft Auto V is coming soon.
The reason there are organizations so against children playing violent games, such as the titles under Grand Theft Auto is because of the impact it can have. Often, children imitate what they see and they pick up on the actions. Minds are impressionable and it is important to put the right things in them.
Unfortunately, an eight-year-old boy in Louisiana took Grand Theft Auto IV literally when he got violent. This young boy shot his 90-year-old caregiver in the back of the head, instantly killing her. The boy was playing Grand Theft Auto IV only minutes earlier, but claims it was an accident, but the police are not convinced.
